Our lip balms are packaged in a super cool tube made of Post Consumer Resin (PCR).  PCR recycles too, and we have biodegradable additives to accelerate decomposition in biologically active landfills, marine, or other environments in less than eight years!    -Thats pretty cool, and the oval shaped tube fit's comfortably and securely in a pocket with a cap that won’t unexpectedly pop off.

Cocoa Butter: Mild sun protection properties, although it is not considered an SPF additive by the FDA. Cocoa butter is a wonderful emollient plant extract. It is one of the best ingredients to replenish skin.

Coconut Oil: A highly saturated oil which resists oxidation. It is a heavy oil which stays on the outer layers of the skin maintaining a smooth feeling.

Sunflower Oil: A medium-light oil which is naturally high in Vitamin E.

Bees Wax: Creates a desirable consistency for lip balms and salves and seals moisture in the skin.

Organic Essential Oils: our favorite and most natural source of flavor and efficacy harnessing the power of nature! Look for an E.O. in the flavor name to denote that we are using essential Oils in the blend.

Organic Flavor Oils: Some flavors don’t exist in oil soluble plant extracts… so we partner with Natures Flavors… some heady chemists that fraction & re-combine the terpene components of the readily available essential oils, to get flavors like strawberry… a plant that produces almost no oil soluble flavanoids.  

OM-Cinnamate: This is the “greenest” FDA approved UV absorber approved for use on the lips.  It is a clear liquid, derived from Cinnamon leaves, or balsam of Peru, and gives our lip balms SPF 15+ at 5%
