I looked on the website and sent an email to the company and got an immediate reply. I asked the question of how long the ingredients were active in the salve as I had been using the same jar for about 4 years. I was told that their recommendation was replacement after 4 years so I ordered a new jar. It came very quickly along with a free gift of a lip salve. I love these products and i am impressed by the swift response to my inquiry. My family call the salve "my magic healer" because it works so well. You can keep Neosporin and all of the other commercial salves. Joshua Tree wins my vote every time!
