I use this every day and keep several scattered about the house, in cars and pockets. It is the only lip product I use anymore and my lips love it!
We've used J Tree healing salve and mountain Mint lip balm for over 12 years. We found it at the roadside shop outside J Tree in California when we were dirtbag climbers. Now we live in Oklahoma with our children and stock up annually during the Black Friday sale. Over the years we settled solidly between Mountain Mint and Lavender as THE best flavors for this item. The Peppermint is just alright. I'd get the Mountain Mint if you like a tingle without sting. They layer beautifully under lipstick for extra hydration and wear wonderfully smooth with a touch of shine on their own for the day to day. Some family members hate greasy feel or shine so they apply at night and never have dry, chapped or flaking lips even in our cold/dry winters. All I'm saying is stock up. You won't regret it. Hands down better than any other mint chapstick on the market. The tingle is just right. Like Goldilocks.
Buy the healing salve too! :) We use it for everything. Our kids call it Joshie Tree. For their bumps, cuts and all things skin.
We're still working through the hand sanitizer we stocked up on a few years ago. It's great in the door of your car post gas fill up our whenever you want the freshest and best smelling hands without drying them out.
An Asheville friend let me use her Jtree lip balm 6 years ago. Since then, it’s the only thing I put on my lips. My favorite is the Luscious Lavender. I buy it in bulk packs every winter to give in Christmas gift bags. I swear it really does help prevent and quickly heal cold sores. I used to get them almost monthly. Now it’s maybe twice a year (during back to school/work stress overload). When I’m outside in the summer, I use the Mountain Mint with SPF for sun protection. I really love the stickers that come with my purchases too!

Grabbed a chapstick at a Joshua Tree Visitor Center last summer during a road trip, and I will NEVER buy another brand again. These are everything you want/need in a chap stick! They keep your lips moisturized for so long compared to generic brands, they have so many scents to choose from, they’re compact, and have SPF! The only thing I can compare it to (with the occlusive properties that retain moisture) is Vaseline, but that stuff isn’t portable, doesn’t come in different scents, and doesn’t contain SPF. With ONLY 5 star reviews, you’ve gotta buy this stuff, there’s nothin better.
