How do you train for your sport?: I weight lift 2/3 days a week. I also do a lot of campus board and hang board workouts. And running circuits at the local bouldering area.
Other sports/hobbies: Snowboarding, great off season activity.
Favorite JTree product: The Recovery Lotion and the Climbing Salve. Both of these products help me push through the damages climbing has on the body. The salve to save my fingertips (especially on long climbing trips), and the Recovery Lotion helps soothe my sore muscles so I can get back out the next day feeling fresh!
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out: Remember the climbing is for fun, try not to get too caught up in grades.
What’s your best “party” trick: Arm wrestling or thumb wrestling
What is the coolest thing you’ve ever won: A stuffed animal frog. I won it at a bowling alley on New Year's Eve in El Paso, Texas on my first ever trip to Huecotanks!
