American Ninja Warrior

How do you train for your sport?: I train 6 days per week specifically with ninja in mind. I do yoga once per week, one rest day, 2 days of grip intensive/ninja training, 2 days of calisthenics based circuit training and one day of hard cardio/endurance.
Other sports/hobbies: I also am active in bodyweight/calisthenics training, rock climbing and yoga, Obstacle Course Races.
Favorite JTree product: I love the Gymnastics Salve and the lip balm. I actually learned a trick to heal bad rips quickly from a gymnast. The first two nights after the rip occurs, you put a big glob of JTree on the clean and dry tear. Then cover your hand with an old sock and tape it on so it stays put. It will help the rip heal quicker.
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out: Listen to your body, hanging like a monkey takes getting used to for both the skin of the hands, but also the muscular/skeletal system particularly of the shoulders. Moblity is the key and proper warm ups.
What’s your best “party” trick: My best party trick is handstanding/doing muscle ups in random places. Or crow to handstand back down to crow.
What is the coolest thing you’ve ever won: I won an online contest and won some really great ninja/rock climbing holds.
