I bought this flavour on clearance as an impulse buy at my climbing gym a few years ago, not expecting much. Little did I know, I was trying the best lip balm on the market. Every year around the turn of winter, it is a real challenge for me to keep my lips adequately moisturized. As a cycle commuter, between the harsh winds slapping my face and the dry air from indoor heating, I got used to trying various products in an effort to minimize the damage dealt to my sensitive lips. Not only is the scent of this flavour is perfection, with warm aromas about as cozy as a hot cup of spiced cider, but this mixture has the perfect balance for actually healing chapped skin (that coco butter tho <3). It supplies moisture while still holding a soft but breathable membrane. Many other lip balms function by coating the skin in a thick waxy petroleum layer over temporarily soothing but drying agents that prevents the skin from actually getting better. Other natural products I've tried just were all off for one reason or another (too waxy, too gritty, not at all effective, or any combination of these things). With this lip balm, the ratio of ingredients is the perfect mixture to glide on smoothly, and feel natural over the sensitive skin on the lips. A quick application is great to get my lips kissably soft. When my skin is particularly bad, I do reapply frequently, but I find my skin feels better with each application (also, the smell y'all. This is still my favourite scent option). After really long rides against a headwind, sometimes I'll apply a baselayer of shea butter mixed with manuka honey and use JTree on top as a sealant. Biggest downside, this stuff is hard to find! I've seen it at small gear shops when on climbing trips, but even then, the options are limited to flavours I'm not as fond of. It feels quite silly ordering something so small, but I've yet to try another lipcare product that works this well, and I've tried many- from the cheap to the pricey. I like try a bunch of different ones with each order, but apple cider and lemonade will always have a place in my cart.
Sadly, this item was discontunied
Its ok,doesn't stay on lips, kind of pricey
